With an exciting line-up of speakers from Brabners, RSM and DTP, this free and invite-only event will explore a number of topics including housing management (Awaab's Law), VAT and finance in relation to property development as well as how RP's can prepare for upcoming regulatory changes.

 

We will be joined by leading industry experts who will offer insight, experience and expertise across a range of sessions, covering key housing sector topics. You will gain insight from both Brabners colleagues as well as RSM and DTP. You will also get the opportunity to raise questions and network with colleagues across the sector. In particular, we are going to highlight some of the positive work that the sector does.

  • 09:30 — Welcome and intro from Helen Brown, Partner, Joint Head of Housing (Brabners), followed by a session on VAT and finance in relation to property development, led by Audrey Fearing (RSM)
  • 10:25  — Rupert Gill, Partner, Sector Lead of Housing and Communities (Brabners), and Marcus Evans (DTP) lead a session focused on the planned changes to regulation and what they will mean for RP's, concentrating on consultation that is already out on revisions to the consumer standards and the upcoming announcement on the planned changes to the remaining economic standards
